Here is a garden, a paradise, a place of growth. Within our minds lie billions of neurons, weaving complex networks that carry our sights and sounds into the depths of our consciousness. The structure of plants mirrors these neural networks, lush and intricate, teeming with life and complexity.

Here is my garden.

* The human body, especially the female body, is a delicate expression, a reflection of the invisible spiritual state radiating outward. It responds deeply to the external world and our inner emotions. When we speak of a beautiful and healthy body, we are referring not only to the physical form but also to the spirit and soul that nourish it and are, in turn, nourished by it.

* While creating this piece, I was reminded of a line from Naked Lunch:

“…A frozen moment when you see what is on the end of every fork, and suddenly see it for what it is! It’s a moment of awakening—a confrontation with the essence of things. That seemingly tasty food is the remnants of a life; a carefully crafted garden might conceal something absurd or grotesque beneath its surface. In that instant, all decorations are stripped away, revealing a raw and unsettling truth.”

This work explores that fleeting moment of clarity—when the facade falls away and we confront the often unsettling reality beneath beauty and appearances.
